How to use it
First trace the faint apple lines with a crayon, then colour inside however they like. Last comes the scissors: cut along the dashed rounded frame. The corners are gentle on purpose — the result is a little card your child made start to finish. Tape a loop of string on the back and it becomes an ornament.
Safety: child-safety scissors and a grown-up nearby, always. Left-handed child? Left-handed scissors make a real difference.
Why this comes at 3.5+
Tracing warms up the same hand muscles the scissors will use, and a rounded frame is the friendliest first cut-out: long edges, no sharp corners. Suits children who can already cut forward along a line.
