How to use it

Cut to a corner, stop, turn the paper, cut again. Zigzags teach the stop-and-turn rhythm — going slow around the corners is exactly right.

Safety: child-safety scissors and a grown-up nearby, always. Left-handed child? Left-handed scissors make a real difference.

Why this comes at 4+

Corners ask for something new: stopping mid-cut, repositioning, and starting again. That control usually clicks around four.

Every child moves at their own pace — treat the age as a signpost, not a test. Like everything Doodle Turtle makes, it waits for your child.
